The 2,4-D Research Task Force is dedicated to fostering an ongoing comprehensive scientific understanding of the herbicide 2,4-D and its beneficial role in the production of food and fiber, and in maintenance of other non-crop green spaces and rights of way. Our mission is to ensure that ongoing rigorous scientific data collection is conducted to support 2,4-D registrations in the U.S. and Canada. The Task Force also engages with the general public, stakeholders, regulators, and policymakers, providing them with detailed, scientific information about 2,4-D.
By promoting informed discussions and enhancing decision-making processes, and through funding research on 2,4-D, we ensure that all stakeholders have the knowledge needed to make educated choices regarding the use of this important product.
The Task Force is made up of companies holding technical registrations on the active ingredient in 2,4-D herbicides:
